Within the role you will liaise with all residents on a daily basis in order to provide monitoring and support in connection with their well being and health, welcoming new residents to the scheme to enable them to settle into their new home whilst assisting residents with the reporting of repairs and maintenance issues with the Property Investment Team and/or contractors.  You will work in conjunction with the Area Services Manager and external statutory and voluntary agencies such as Social Services and GPs about residents health and welfare issues, ensuring that, under the Supporting People regulations, residents support plans and risk assessments are kept fully up to date and that general scheme record keeping is clear and accurate.  

Candidates will ideally have experience of working with elderly people and knowledge of Supporting People within a supported housing environment.  With a methodical, well organised and positive approach to your workload and the ability to work to strict deadlines with minimal supervision, you should have good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to act calmly yet effectively in a crisis.

Working 5 days a week you will need to be well organised and commited to the position. This is for a year 5 class , there are around 30 pupils with a range of ability and learning needs. The position begins immediatley after half term and runs up until the end of academic year, we are confident the right teacher will be kept on as of september.

Ideally you will be/have: 
* A PGCE or equivalent in primary education , QTS or NQT status 
* Ability to build good relationships and rapport with staff and pupils 
* Experience of working with challenging and mixed ability pupils 
* The ability to deliver creative lessons in line with the curriculum 
* An enthusiastic attitude
