Architectural Technician with industrial or retail experience required for city centre design firm. Your new company The Manchester studio of this established regional architecture practice has been newly set up to capitalise on the work the firm has recently won with clients based in the North West. This is a fast moving business who have established themselves as a market leader in industrial building design in the UK, delivering some of the largest schemes in this sector. Your new role You will be working in a small team environment initially as the firm looks to build up its presence in the Manchester marketplace. The work they have however is huge, and with that comes great opportunity to drive your career forward as one of the founding staff members in this location. You will be expected to work unsupervised at time, but will gave good structure and guidance available. The firm has up to date BIM technology, and runs projects on Revit. You will be travelling to sites, meeting clients and contractors, and making sure projects are delivered to specification, as well as producing full drawing packages as required. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be an experienced Architectural Technologist, ideally a member of CIAT, and will have a project background of industrial and/or retail based projects. Revit skills would be highly desirable however if you have specific sector experience of industrial schemes then this practice will provide training.
