Detailed Job description Working alongside the Senior Management and Executive Team, you will lead on your own opportunities and support the existing strong pipeline ensuring key travel grows from strength to strength - we will provide you with accredited sales training and a clear progression plan exists within the sales team - if this sounds like you and your ready to make the move why not apply now. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role is responsible for the development and management of a new business pipeline to achieve targets and help us provide innovative customer solutions that reduce their cost, improve their efficiency and support our growth. You will build direct relationships and network with organisations to qualify, develop and convert opportunities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, have great communication skills, are achievement-oriented and expect recognition with performance rewards for exceeding targets; the OTE scheme is un-capped. Travel will be required for this role. Job requirements - Work autonomously to develop a realistic pipeline through cold calling and networking with procurement managers, prospects and extensive trade organisations - Produce accurate projections within the pipeline to meet targets and agreed budgets - Manage customer relationships from initial prospect call to close of sale - Maximise customer engagement with the Key Travel Senior Management Team - Ensure customer profiling is accurate and insightful - Ownership of the bid process including bid writing - Ensure that revenue conversion tracks correctly and work with the Account Management and Implementation Teams to deliver a successful implementation - Manage and track your activity, recording all information in a CRM (Sales Force) database - You will produce pipeline forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, manage forecast accuracy, and maintain your competitive knowledge and focus - Reflect our values in all you do What we like to see - Proven experience in a sales or business travel environment - A willingness to learn - An understanding how to gauge customer requirements and problem statements Perseverance and the ability to think out solutions that meet customer needs The ability to build consensus within the customer and Key Travel stakeholders to gain the support for the customer solutions
