This company is looking for a reliable person to work on their Reception desk and carry out sales admin support. Duties will include: - Responsibility for keeping Reception area and meeting rooms tidy, presentable and ready for use; - Operating the switchboard and directing calls; - Dealing with queries by phone and face-to-face; - Receiving corporate guests and directing general visitors; - Arranging catering and refreshments for meetings; - Post duties; - Providing support to the sales office secretary and other departments, eg typing quotations. Your Profile As you will be the first point of contact for the Sales Office, you must be friendly, courteous, enthusiastic, positive and professional in demeanour, with a desire to offer a good service to visitors and staff alike. this will include being keen to learn about the company so that you are competent in offering information in response to queries. They are also looking for strong communication skills, diplomacy, the ability to cope under pressure and an inclination for teamwork. Hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30am-4pm Friday, with the requirement to be flexible with start times when necessary for holiday cover etc. Full training will be given.
